What are Balloonies?

Balloonies are bouncy, fun, floaty, colourful and caring balloon characters that journey through many lands discovering many genres of balloonie characters. As they journey they learn more about themselves and others.

There are three main domestic characters, a dog, cat and a guinea pig... Ruff, Rosie and Ginnie. Ruff is an imaginative, adventurous dog that is very excited to explore and search for other Balloonies and their habitats/lands. Rosie is a calm and suave cat that is very knowledgeable and thinks things through before proceeding. Ginnie is a very anxious guinea pig that scatters about and struggles to communicate, lacks in confidence and coping skills.

Ruffs imagination develops and progresses in real time, this sends the friends on a journey through his thoughts. Ruff and his pet friends live on a domesticated land (petland) they gather near a jetty just on the outskirts of the city. Here Ruffs imagination gets a little wild conjuring up a strong wind that sweeps the friends off their feet and blows them across the ocean to float into another land.

Each episode, the Balloonies would travel to other lands such as…. Prehistoric, Marine, Mythical, Space, Farm, Insects, global (animals that represent different nations), Zoo, Aus and so on. 

Episodes will cover mental health issues, bullying (unintentional), social anxiety, difficulties with communication, asking for help and making friends, levels and pace of understanding… the list is endless! Scroll for snippets
